Ingredients

  • Vegetable Oil
  • Mushrooms, fresh, sliced
  • Onions, chopped
  • Chef’s Companion Cream Soup Base, prepared
  • Marrakesh Express® Long Grain & Wild Rice, prepared
  • Chicken, cooked, chopped
  • Water
  • True Lemon dry or ½ cup + 3 Tbps True Lemon Juice

Instructions

  • 1:
    In a stockpot, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  • 2:
    Add mushrooms and onions.
  • 3:
    Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until mushrooms and onions are tender.
  • 4:
    Stir in cream soup base, rice, chicken, water and True Lemon.
  • 5:
    Simmer for 5-10 minutes until heated through. Serve.
  • 6:
    Tip: If a thinner soup is desired, water or low sodium chicken broth can be added.
